In late summer 2014 I was asked by Veloce if I would be willing to write another book for their "Essential Buyer's Guide" series. The next logical subject was the immensely popular 2005-2014 Mustangs or S197s as they're known.

1964-1973 Ford Mustang - Essential Buyers Guide
I was approached by friend and fellow Ford Mustang owner David Hornsey, who had recently published a book called “Race and Trackday Driving Techniques”. His publisher (Veloce Publishing) knowing David was a Ford Mustang owner has asked if he would be interested in writing a second book which would be part of their popular “Essential Buyers Guide” series which covered first generation (or classic) Mustangs. A modest chap, David decided that the project would be out of his comfort zone, being more familiar with the modern S197 generation cars kindly asked if I would be interested in such a project. The rest (as they say) is history… - Matt Learn how to separate the wheat from the chaff, look for tell tale signs of corrosion and wear, but most important of all get the most for your money.
